Pocket to Pocket Coverage   WPBA Tour (Women's Professional Billiard Tour) Monica Webb To Defend Her #1 Ranking This Week At WPBA Great Lakes Classic Event 6/15/2009  -   WPBA's #1 Ranked Monica Webb WPBA top ranked player, Monica Webb, nicknamed "The Assassin", will be defending her #1 ranking June 17th-21st at the WPBA Great Lakes Classic event in Michigan City, IN. Monica will be facing many strong competitors including Allison Fisher, Jeanette Lee, Helena Thornfeldt, Tracie Hines, and Yu Ram Cha , among others. Monica earned the number one ranking  by winning back to back titles, starting with the 2008 WPBA National Championship last November. She struck gold again with a solid win at this year's San Diego Classic, vaulting her to the top spot among women's professional players. Monica is the first American to rank #1 on the WPBA tour in years, a spot that in the past has been dominated by European and Asian players.
